1. Blindness Prevalences due to Cataract:

According to the Pakistan National Blindness and Visual Impairment Survey, cataract is the leading cause of blindness in Pakistan, accounting for approximately 80% of all cases. In KPK and the Hazara region, the prevalence of cataract-related blindness remains alarmingly high, robbing individuals of their independence and productivity.

MCV has recognized the urgent need to combat this issue, working tirelessly to provide accessible and affordable cataract surgeries and comprehensive eye care services. Through our dedicated team of skilled ophthalmologists, we have successfully restored vision to thousands of individuals, enabling them to regain their lives and contribute to their communities.

2. Mother and Child Healthcare:

Despite progress in healthcare services, many mothers and children in Pakistan continue to face inadequate access to quality healthcare. The lack of essential maternal and child health services contributes to preventable illnesses and disabilities.

MCV, in collaboration with local healthcare providers and organizations, has implemented various initiatives to improve access to maternal and child healthcare services in KPK and the Hazara region. Our programs focus on prenatal care, immunizations, nutrition education, and community outreach, ensuring that mothers and children receive the support they need to thrive.

3. Library at Baffa:

Education is a key driver of progress and empowerment. However, limited educational resources pose a significant challenge for school children in the region. MCV recognized the importance of promoting literacy and education among the young generation and established a library in Baffa, KPK.

Through this library initiative, we aim to create a nurturing environment that encourages a love for reading and learning. The library provides access to a wide range of books, educational materials, and storytelling sessions, empowering children and nurturing their intellectual growth.

MCV’s Role:

Mehboob Charity Vision has been at the forefront of addressing these critical issues in Pakistan, particularly in the KPK province and the Hazara region. Through our targeted interventions, we have made a significant impact on the lives of individuals affected by blindness, mothers struggling with healthcare access, and school children deprived of educational resources.

With the unwavering support of our dedicated team, partners, and generous donors, we continue to expand our reach and make a difference in the lives of those in need. Together, we are working towards a brighter, healthier, and more inclusive future for the people of Pakistan.
